Hi,

When i use <c:set var ... > and if the attribute is not there, it will create one, I'm ok with this, but, when i use <c:target ... > it will not create the bean or map if it does not exist right ?

Please clear my doubt ...

Thanks in advance ...

You mean <c:set target="..." ... /> ?
You're right, it won't create the bean, nor the Map. It must exist in the specified scope.
