When will the syntactic correctness of associated Tag files happen in a JSP ?
Will it happen During Page translation ?

Its more or less like a compilation of Java file only. During translation phase the tags are checked against the .tld file (which is more or less how a XML DTD or Schema to XML file) and the errors if any are reported.

Everything has got its own deadline including one's EGO!
