You don't need a book, when all you need is at the ranch :
- Marc Peabody's notes on Design Patterns
- SCWCD forum

The best book on Design Patterns is the Manning book. Unfortunately, however, this is the only topic in which the books excels (in my opinion).

My notes should do the trick. The J2EE Patterns Catalog can also help. In general, stay away from mock exam Design Patterns questions unless the mock exam is from a book - otherwise the (easy) topic of Design Patterns may become clouded with misinformation.

I think Marc is talking about this book. But I also agree that only the part on design patterns is worth it.

Here it is but be warned that there are other exam topics that this book either does not cover or does not do so thoroughly.

Hi Marc
Can you tell me what topics have not been covered in this book because I have read this book and found it very comfortable and thorough
