What does the <url-pattern>/</url-pattern> in <security-constraint> implies?

Nothing ? I mean, I would use "/*" to specify the whole context.

I think that <url-pattern>/</url-pattern> does nothing, while <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> secures everything. Maybe <url-pattern>/</url-pattern> only secures the root.... Sorry, I'm not confident on that.

I gave it a try in Tomcat, and it gave the same results as "/*".
