Guys,

I read from David Bridgewater's book is that all the DD elements that end with a -config i.e., <login-config>, <session-config>, <jsp-config> should appear either 0 or 1 time only. If present more than 1 time, the container rejects all the duplicates. Fine and good. Now imagine if I have <login-config> to appear more than one time and the first one has <auth-method> as BASIC and the second has <auth-method> as FORM. Now which one will the container ignore? Please help!

First of all, be sure that you won't get that kind of question at the exam. If there are two of them, it's no good. I'm not sure that you can tell which one will be used. It may be container dependant. It might be the first one.

Thanks Satou. I'll probably try this at home and will post the results here.

Which container are you using ? The spec allows multiple XXX-config elements.

Hey Satou, any reason as to why you changed your name?

You should try with J2EE 1.4 instead. This discussion is about SCWCD 1.4.

Hi Jothi. Mmhh... it's a bit long to explain. But this is now my real name.
