attributes to tags using jsp:attribute and normal way

Can some attribues be specified using jsp:attribute and others in the normal way in tags jsp pages?

eg

<myPrefix:myTag name='xxx'>
<jsp:attribute name='place'>yyy</jsp:attribute>
</myPrefix:myTag>

Do you mean using both XML attributes and jsp:attribute for the same tag ? Yes you can.

By XML attributes you meant the way I have given the attributes right?
