Is there any way to find out how many Topics I have started and how many topics I have responded to?
I just wanted to see my ratio.

UBB will provide a url for every thread you have posted to (started or replied). Write a program that will extract all of those and then determine if you wrote the first post or not.

Be aware however, Gregg, that by having Pauls permission to do this you agree to all of the following items:
1. Any code said named developer (you) develop in relation to the forums at The JavaRanch (the ranch) become the sole property of the ranch.
2. You will not be compensated in any way for said code, except in so far as you will be told, often and loudly, when said code fails to do what the user wants it to do. This includes, but is not limited to, cases where the user is using the code to do something it was not intended to do.
3. Any financial gains you may realize from said code must be split, within 7 days of your receiving them, with the ranch. The converse, however, will not hold true and in no case will you get any compensation, financial or otherwise, from the ranch, except as mentioned in item 2 above.
4. Should you discover interesting data about the amount of time certain individuals are spending in the meaningless drivel (MD) forum, you are to immedialtely destroy those records and send a note of apology to them for ever doubting them.
5. In connection with number 3 above, you must also develop a web-based front end to your application that will allow others to access their own posting records. Said frontend wil exact a fee of not less than $2.00 from each user who endevours to use the code you developed. Said fee is due immediately and in full regardless of whether or not the user gets the desired reults (see item 2, sentence 2 above).
6. All of the above are subject to change at the drop of a hat, based solely on how the ranch feels that day.
