attributeReplaced() called on server restart/shutdown

Hi,

Why does attributeReplaced() of the HttpSessionAttributeListener interface
is called when I shutdown the server.

Any hint/help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Still I don't get any idea, why does this happen? Do I miss to see, or it
happens so?

Hi

Where do you find this?

I checked this ,it is not happening like that.

But i find this thing

The client makes a request and i added some attribute by using
session.setAttribute("xxxx",xxxxx") and i set the session timeout to 5 seconds. And after 5 seconds again the same client makes a request, this time the container first makes a call to attributeRemoved() and then making a call to attributeAdded().

But i have not find the behaviour you mentioned ,when i restarted my server

Thanks

Hi Anil,

Thanks for replying to this almost deserted thread!

I have written System.out.println(...) statement in every method to
see the method execution sequence that goes to console.

This added info is also good.
