Hi All,

I just cleared my SCJP exam with 85%. Now am willing to proceed to the developer level and hence prepare for SCWCD. i've already worked as a developer for 2 yrs in Java(not much of JSP and servlets though). So i need some advice from you all experts there as to where and how to start, what are the recommended books and study materials? I am not planning to take up any course. how long to prepare for this exam ? (i have a 2 yr old kid, so i can spend not more than 2 quality hours a day). Thank you all in advance.

Regards
Shruthi VHS

Buy the Head First Servlets and JSP book. It's a good starting point for your SCWCD.

Hello Shruthi,

I also would suggest you start reading through "Head First Servlets & JSP" which is an ultimate (and one-and-only) book for SCWCD exam prepartion (as many ranchers felt and commented).

Before that just have a look at the FAQ link given by Christophe.

Good luck!
