Hi,
Do context atttribues survive a session timeout? It is told as true. Can anybody throw light on this?

Context attributes are also called application attributes.

If a session times out, the application is still there, so the context (aka application) attributes remain.

Yes. The Context Attributes are at the Application level which is available for all the servlets under the same web application.
