Hi Ranchers,

I have given the SCWCD 1.4 exam today (3 September) got through with 73%

Its just 13 days preparation only with ...

1] HFSJ
2] Peabody's notes on ScwcdPatterns
3] and JavaRanch Big Moose Saloon SCWCD forum

I have given SCJP on 20th of last month (20 August) got through with 85%

All the Best for all the takers...

And Thanks to Bryan, Kathy and Bert for the wonderful book....

Is 73% in SCWCD is good enough?

Hi Prafulla N. Patil,

That's a good score for very much short duration.!!

So was exam tough? How was the security part?
So you did not refer specs? that's cool
wanted to do the same, but it's taking time for me.

thanks
Kalpana.

hi Kalpana,

exam is not that tough, it is bit easy as compaired to final mock exam in HFSJ.

As i wanted to complete it as early as possible i didnt get time to refer specs
but referring specs is must for exam, becoz there are many questions in the exam which will test you for API

and one main thing dont forget to refer errata for HFSJ

i didnt find security part that much hard.

[b]"wanted to do the same, but it's taking time for me"[b]

same happened for me in case of my SCJP,first thing is prepare some plan and if possible try to
schedule your exam according to that plan.

if you are in touch with J2EE then one month is sufficient

in case you are lacking of confidence to take exam Whizlabs(exam simulator) will help you

Hope this clears all your doubt

Best Luck
