I am a Peoplesoft developer with computer science bacckground. I am taking the Java exams as i am interested in Java and want to be stron in multiple technologies.
I have completed SCJP and am farily familiar with the core concepts. Now i am preparing for SCWCD. I am mainly preparing from the resources available in the web like mikalai zeikin and various notes. Is these enough for clearing the exam or is it very much nevessary to buy books for preparation.
I want to complete the certifications but i dont have enough bandwidth( as java is not my core competency) to spend considerable amount of time going through books.
If you feel comfortable with Mikalai's notes, why not. But I would recommend to read at least one book for the exam. Notes are mostly used as reminders, and will probably difficult to assimilate from scratch. You can check available books at the SCWCD Links.
