For SCWCD HFSJ book is more than enough. It will give you complete idea from basics.Don't waste money on training. you can do yourself.Be confident.

Guys follow the books by kathy Sierra... if you are new to java just start with Head first java it has every minute detail with good explanation...if you want to learn servlets and jsp in a real context follow Head first servlets and jsp book....but very important do write programs on your own .........

All the best!

As ruquia tabassum pointed out, better pick up Head First Java if you are new to Java or if you already you knew Java, then start your Servlets and JSP with Head First. If you feel still uncomfortable, then you can look for those training institutes.
