Hi gurus,

I have a very very very very big doubt.
I am reading HFSJ for the SCWCD preparation.

I just reached the chapter that talk about TLD.

At page 389, it mentions about

<tlib-version>1.2</tlib-version>
<uri>xxxx</uri>
<function>
<name>xxxx</name>
<function-class>xxxx</function-class>
<function-signature>
xxxx
</function-signature>
</function>

then at page 467, it talks about

<tlib-version>0.9</tlib-version>
<shortname></shortname>
<uri>xxx</uri>
<tag>
<description>xxx</description>
<name>xxx</name>
<tag-class>xxxx</tag-class>
<body-content>xxxx</body-content>

<attribute>
<name></name>
<required></required>
<rtexprvalue></rtexprvalue>
</attribute>
</tag>

Which one exactly we should highlight?
and how come it talks about 0.9 more than 1.1,
is it 0.9 is much more useful than 1.1?

I really get confused of these thing,
Anyone could help me out of this?

Thank you very much!

I think, that you as the author of that tag library can choose that.
And I think that it doesn't matter what you put there,.. 1.0, 2.0, 555.55..

Thank you for your response, John!

Erm...
I wonder what is the difference between using <function> and <tag>?

thank you.

I'm not sure what this value is used for either. It's the version of the tag library implementation, so, as John said, you can put any useful value in it. Note that when container generates implicit TLDs for Tag Files, it defaults the tlib-version to 1.0.
Why is the version different in both examples in HFSJ ? Who knows ?
