Assume the tag library in the exhibit is placed in a web application in the path /WEB-INF/TLD/example.tld.

1.
2.<ex:hello/>
which jsp code inserted at line 1,completes the jsp code to invoke the hellotag?

<%@taglib prefix="ex" uri="http://example.com/tld/example"%>
or
<%@taglib prefix="ex" uri="/WEB-INF/tld"%>

whichone is correct please exlain?

uri is a name container uses to map tld file and the tag file within tld file with their usage in a jsp file.

just verify the tld file and check the value of 'uri' within that. jsp file should have the same value.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
