Hi
I am a beginner in jsp/servlet.
Ideally how much time shud i spend in reading HFSJ?
and can aynyone suggest a few DOs while reading the book?

One good suggestion is keep the Servlet and JSP Specification aside and just have a look at the related concepts when you keep reading.

Also practice it well.

just read HFSJ book thoroughly 2-3 times. At least 2-3 you need for preparation for the exam if you are new. I think I don't know how much you can spend in reading.
