Hi,

If I develop a application that uses tag files, and then later on decide to move it to a jar file for distribution.

Tag files require a tld when in a jar. The TLD entry contains URI to be specified. Where as outside jar no URI was needed and tag was directly accessible provided it is in the right place.

Do i have to make modifications to my code, so that it uses a taglib directive now as it is in a jar file?

Please help.

Narendra,

So do I use something like:

<%@ taglib uri="uri of the tag file in TLD" prefix="abc"%> and I will have to change my code to include this line the JSP that uses the tag file.

?
