Not able to use JSTL

Hi,
I am trying hands on JSTL with 'apache-tomcat-6.0.13'.
And my jsp page contains following code:


But it's throwing following error.


Does anybody have any pointers on this.

Have you made .tld file enteries in web.xml?

Yes I have added following entry to web.xml


And the c.tld file is present in /WEB-INF/tld folder.
Still it's throwing following error:


Do I need to add anything else?

Yes, you need to do it from scratch, because you are not on the right tracks So please remove that web.xml entry, and c.tld. Where did you get that tld file from ? You don't need to extract it. The container will creates mappings to the library automatically, that's why you don't need to touch web.xml.

Please read this FAQ and follow the instructions. Download both jar files, and put them in your lib directory. By the way, may I ask you why you are using "core_rt" as your taglib ?
