Hi,

I cleared SCWCD 5 with 92% score !!!

- There were lot of questions on design patterns. I found them quite confusing and lost my marks here.
- There were questions that used the Java 5 contruct - the advanced for loop. I did not get anything on Generics.
- There were some tough questions on packaging and deploying tag files and tlds.
- Questions on other topics were pretty straight forward.
- There was 1 question that had wrong syntax for the correct answer. I lost some time here.
- I found three hours more than enough and finished the exam in two hours and had almost one hour for revision.

My preparation was as follows, I:
1. Read Head First Servlets and JSP atleast thrice before taking the exam.
2. Practiced all questions in Enthuware software.
3. Referred to API docs where ever I needed extra clarification.

Thanks,
Prasanna

"There were questions that used the Java 5 contruct - the advanced for loop. I did not get anything on Generics. "

Thats interesting as many people have been wondering about what has changed, considering the objectives are the same. Many thanks for your valuable feedback.
