not able to call the servlet

Hi,

I have JSP page in jsp form action if give the URL pattern as word some thing like <url-pattern>/test</url-pattern> and in my jsp form action=/test and when submit the page it works fine.

but say i will give the url pattern as /*.do and in my action=/test.do it wont work it say that test.do resource does not exists what may be the reason.

I don't think you can put markings on both sides of a wildcard in a single mapping. You can do /* or *.do but not /*.do
