Wonderful article Thomas!! The new Preferences API is great. I have already started to implement this into one of my applications today because of your article.
If anyone has any doubts about this API, read Thomas' article here

I was just coming here to post the same topic. Actually I thought all the topics as well as the articles have been excellent lately. Keep up the excellent work guys! Gotta go implement my new preferences class and rework my hashcodes(excellent article as well)!
