Hi I have seen a statement in SCWCD pracitse questins.

"Context attributes survive a session timeout"

Would any one clarify me what does it mean?

ServletContext (aka application scope) attributes survive any session timeout. The application level is at a greater scope than any individual user session. So, unlike session attributes, the application scoped attributes don't die when a session dies.
