Hi Ranchers,

I am not able to compile tag handler class that uses classic tags. I have question, Whether there is any special JAR file required for compiling/running this class?

Pls. suggest.

Thanks

Muks

What does "not able to compile" mean - if you're getting error messages, let us know what those are.

And yes, you do need the servlet-api.jar and jsp-api.jar files in your classpath. (The names might be different, but they contain the javax.servlet class hierarchy.)

Hi ULF,

Thanks for reply. I got it. basically jsp-api wasn't there in classpath. I never used the classic tags so wasn't aware. But yes, now surely I am.

Thanks a ton for help.

Regards

Muks
