Hi
Are these empty elements valid in DD?

1.<session-config></session-config>
2.<welcome-file-list></welcome-file-list>
3.<user-data-constraint></user-data-constraint>
4.<security-constraint></security-constraint>
5.<login-config></login-config>
6.<security-role></security-role>
7.<env-entry></env-entry>

My view is that only 1 and 5 are valid.Am i right? Please correct me if i am wrong. My reasons are:
In 2. there must be atleast one <welcome-file> subelements.
In 3 there must be only one <transport-guarantee> subelement
In 4.there must be atleast one<web-resource-collection>subelement.
In 6.there must be only one <role-name>subelement.
In 7.there must be <env-entry-name>and <env-entry-type>subelements ,<env-entry-value>is optional.

You can easily clear this kind of doubt by downloading the spec and looking into it. The deployement descriptor diagrams are very explicit.

Are you okay? You look a little big. Maybe this tiny ad will help:
