Okay, I looked in the FAQs and searched posts and don't see this answered. How is this exam compared to the SCJP? Thanks!

I'd say it's a bit easier, with less core material. I mean, all of Java, vs. just the web based bit, means the web exam is a little bit less to concentrate on. Plus, if you've got SCJP, which you need, then you won't be struggling with the Java part, and you can just concentrate on the concepts, as opposed to the syntax.

It's a very well respected cert to have.

How is this exam compared to the SCJP?
In what way would you like us to compare the two? Apart from the obvious (they are different Java platforms/technologies), the exams are identical in format (i.e. types of questions), though I guess SCWCD is more about appreciating the APIs and syntax whereas a lot of SCJP is about looking for tricky lines of code. Apparently SCWCD is the second most popular Java cert (after SCJP) and it is true that SCWCD is widely regarded by many employers all over the world. Does that help?
