HeadFirst is the best book for SCWCD. It also updated for SCWCD 5.0.

HeadFirst is the best book for SCWCD.

In your opinion, naturally

I would recommend checking the SCWCD 5 Links, and before deciding to buy any resource (book, online resources, mock exams etc.), read the reviews and look at the TOCs, then decide which seem the best for you. Don't be afraid to get more than one if you can't decide - that's usually a good plan as you'll get many different views on the same topics which should really help to clear any misunderstandings.

Hi Ranchers,
I've come across another book, which according to my opinion is simply excellent for understanding servlets and JSP spec. This book also has several ready to run web applications available in a CD. The book is titled SCWCD Exam Guide and authored by Kunal Jaggi who is a J2EE consultant. Lookout for his posts the SCWCD forum to find links to his website.

Hope this book will spur your preparation and interest in J2EE web development.
