The doFilter method always a container callback method. Yes or No .Please tell me the reason

thanks for the response but in the HFSJ 1st edition 700 page.

It says doFilter is both a callback and an inline method.

I din't understood this.

It's a callback method in the sense that a filter's doFilter method is called by the container.

It's also an inline method in the sense that a filter's doFilter method in turn calls the filter chain's doFilter method.
