An emergency is your house burning down, you needing hospital etc.

Studying for the SCWCD can never be an emergency (if you want to learn properly).

Look at the Links section:

http://faq.javaranch.com/java/ScwcdLinks

Read the tips, linked resources.

If you want / need to cram for the exam in a short space of time, BUY a copy of the Head First Servlets and JSP (preferably 2nd Edition printed after July when they corrected some of the errors). IMHO if you are a good studier you could probably cram for the exam with HFSJ spending 2 hours a night for 2 - 3 weeks.

BUT THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

Take a deep breath. Schedule a month or two for studying, read a bit, play with JSP and Servlets for a bit, read some more. Ask questions, read other people's questions. Try some mock exams, focus on what you've got wrong, and once you are getting consistently a reasonable score, schedule an exam.

HTH - Rufus.
