Hi All,

I am very confused under what circumstances one should use JSP comment; not html comment.
I know that JSP comments are evaluated by container so I should not use any data modifying JSP comment. As they are evaluated so they can be very useful to produce dynamic comment. But they are not send as a part of the response. So
why should I use it ? where I can see these comments?

Please help me to know.

If some other developer wants to look at your .jsp file then it can be useful. Same as adding a Java comment.

Same could be done by HTML comments, Then what will be the benefit of container evaluation of JSP comment.

HTML comments are visible by the client - that's often not what you want.
