I have passed SCJP 1.4 in April 2005

Can I take SCWCD 1.5 or I have to take the same version test which is 1.4
??

Please clarify

I appreciate it

You can take the SCWCD 5 exam (310-083) -- any version of SCJP is good enough. If you're not familiar with Java 5 language features like generics, you might want to brush up on those first though.

Thanks for the clarification, but I got three more questions:

1) Can I take the SCWCD 5 exam with SCJP 1.4 ??

2) What are the other topics that are new to 1.5 & I need to learn them ?

3) Is "Head First Servelets and JSP" book which was designed for the 1.4 test good enough to pass the new test ?

Thanks in advance...

I answered that, please take the time to read what I said.

2) What are the other topics that are new to 1.5 & I need to learn them ?

None, as you can read for yourself on SCWCD FAQ.

3) Is "Head First Servelets and JSP" book which was designed for the 1.4 test good enough to pass the new test?

It covers almost all the objectives, as outlined in the previous answer. However, whether it's good enough for you is a purely subjective question: the answer can only be based on your own expertise, learning style and confidence. You will need to base your choice of books on what helps you learn most effectively, and only you can make that decision. Members of this forum can provide recommendations based on personal experience, but we cannot tell you what to do. I would advice checking SCWCD Links and researching the available resources (books, mock exams, free notes and tutorials).

Hey hi..
You have to go for SCWCD 5
as 1.4 is not available.

He was giving me directions and I was powerless to resist. I cannot resist this tiny ad:
