The original poster asked for a comparison between two particular books (in the subject line at least). Have you actually read both of the books the original poster asked about in order to compare for him? Even then one will only be "better" than another (in your opinion anyway); for something to be the "best" it has to be better than every other item in the same category -- have you read every book and Web resource available?

Hanumanth's book is written in regular book style but HFSJ is written in written in unique style which may or may not you. I would prefer reading Hanumanth's book first and then giving a look to HFSJ as I found Hanumanth's writing style more comfortable.
