Okay, I went ahead and did my own searching on this site.I should have done this before posting. Sorry to be a bother. I came up with the information I needed. I am used to Kathy Sierra style though.
The information I now seek is: if I get the Head First book by Kathy Sierra what supplemental study material might be recommended.

Again, I will go off and look on my own. But any suggestions are appreciated.

Kindly go through SCWCDLinks. My suggestion is to study a complementary book like David Waterbridge or Charles Lycon, if you want to score really high and become proficient in web programming basics... Also dont forget Mikalai Zaikin's useful study guide!

All the best
