My EL expression is not working , in my jsp i try to print a simple String it still doesnt work .I tried to print 123 in my jsp page

${"123"} // I expected 123

but got this

${"123"}

do i have to include some thing in the jsp page like import some package or something

just add this line to your jsp page..



seems you are not using 2.4 schema of web.xml because in this 2.4 schems EL will be evaluated by default.
