Hi guys,

is this free beta exam available worldwide? I checked the supplied links to register, but I was unable to find the exam number 311-019. Maybe it is so because the registration begins June 1st.

Any thoughts ?

So while registering for the exam, will I be getting an option to select a exam date or Sun will decide it?

if I register tomorrow, how much time I will be having before the real exam ?

Sorry if all this sound stupid but I never appeared in the beta exams. Thanks.

the site says register June 1st, beta June 20 - July 15, 2005 so you would have 20 days or so...full month if you wanted too.

Of course the exam is available worldwide. Moreover, the exam is originated from Japan, according to Bert. For registration on June, you need to convert the GMT time difference between your country and U.S.

So stay tune...

can any one tell me what is the syllabus for the SCJA beta certification exam?is it similar to SCJP?

i am preparing for SCJP so is it possible to write the exam with in 30 days of time? :roll:

please give me your suggestions

Visit http://www.sun.com/training/certification/java/associate_beta_objectives.xml for full syllabus of SCJA. SCJA contains basics from all Sun Java certifications ( SCJP / SCJD / SCWCD / SCBCD / SCJDWS / SCMAD / SCEA ), so you would need to have overall understanding of Java.
