1 how to evaluate objectives

Based on what the objectives targeted, you have to find corresponding resources/materials to study.

Each objective shares the same weight, and thus, you can expect that at least 1 question per objective will be asked during the exam. As this is a beta exam, you have to answer more than the offical live exam, and thus, you have to know each objective well.

2 whteher to study programmer cert. book like mughal or just Head first Java and complete reference.

This exam targets on Java beginners, or high level application designers, and thus, detail programming skills are not required. Instead, you have to know all Java technologies, J2SE, J2EE, J2ME, Web Services, OOAD and UML. Hence, you can expect that the exam will not focus too much on technical details.

3 many so in depth knowledge not reqd. so whether i should focus on getting as much info as i can about all topics not in depth

Yes, that's true. Of course, if you focus on learning purposes, it is better to have a clear understanding in each area.

4 generally what things, qst were there in prev exam (if someone has given prev beta exams)

When you take the exam, you have agreed that you will not disclose any exam details, especially the questions. Even someone has posted out the exam questions, I believe the moderator will delete them once they saw the questions.
