Is there something listed in the objectives that has changed from UML 1 to UML 2?

The topics should be the same for both UML 1.x and 2.0.

I'm asking because UML2, for instance, has more diagrams/resources about associations. So, I think it really matters the version.

Hi Aleks,

With respect to the exam objectives, what information do you think we need to know about association which is only covered in UML 2.0 but not in UML 1.x?

Also, since the test is targeted to Java beginners, I guess it will not be too detail on each specific diagram. Instead, it covers the high level knowledge and thus, you have not to be worried too much.

As I posted another thread, UML distilled 3rd edition is one of my study reference, it covers UML 2.0 but not too details. Still, I believe it would be enough.

Of course, if this still makes you uncomfortable, you can try refering to the UML 2.0 specification.

The questions as i saw was based on the Very basics of UML like, Class Diagrams, Representation of Interfaces-Classes-Abstract Classes-access modifiers etc and Representation for Associations and Compositions.
