Hi All,

I need a syllabus of jdk1.4 and jdk1.5, because last month onwards i am preparing for scjp1.4 but my friends and colleagues are saying to write scjp1.5 (jdk1.5 Tiger).
So i need a syllabus of that and also tell me a good certification book for scjp1.5

regards,
N.Thanigaikumar

Seems that you should post your question in this forum: Programmer Certification (SCJP)

Here are the syllabus:
Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 1.4 (CX-310-035)
Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 (CX-310-055)

You can wait for Bert and Kathy's SCJP for Tiger: SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 5 Study Guide (Exam 310-055) (Certification Press) -- by Katherine Sierra, Bert Bates. It should be on the edge of release.
