Hi Seema Manivannan,
first of all thank you for making a SCJA preparation kit...i was a bit worried about what we have to know from the J2EE & J2ME, I bought some books but its too much for me and i cann't miss my shot...because the certification are expensive here in Europa and im still a student.

Do you think its better if i study something like SCJD? Problem is i have no knowledge about J2EE ( EJB, JSP, ... ) or J2ME. What do you suggest me? First SCJA? and later SCJD...
thanks for your answer
arno

Sorry, but I must respond.

How do you imagine taking SCJD after SCJA? You don't know, that you are required to be SCJP before taking SCJD??

Well, sorry. I didn't know. It is not common to take SCJA after SCJP. Respectively your the first case I see.

I agree with Pavel. If you already are SCJP certified, then there is no point in going for SCJA. You can straight away look at SCJD or any other higher level certification.

Best Wishes,
Seema

arno,

For SCJD, you don't need to know Java EE or Java ME. If you want to learn Java EE, you can find a lot of useful information from SCWCD forum and SCBCD forum. Head First Servlets & JSP is a excellent book for SCWCD. There are some other books can help you also.
