SCJA Question

Well, this is a question I have always been kind of curious about anyway, and this might be a good time to ask it:

What is Sun's position (if any) regarding the use of clone( ) vs. using a copy constructor? Can one expect a question on the SCJA exam about what clone is used for, or what the proper usage of it is (class implements Cloneable, throws CloneNotSupportedException, super.clone() etc.)? Is there any reason to expect that a person taking a Sun exam at any level needs to understand what a copy constructor even is, give the fact that some of the classes in the API have them?

Thanks.

Sorry, I meant to put this in the SCJA Questions topic, and hit the wrong button. I'll add it there myself.

The exam objectives do not mention anything about cloning, so I think
it is unlikely that you would be getting questions on that topic.
You can check out this link to know more about what Sun thinks about using Copy constructors vs. Cloning.
