I'm preparing for SCJP1.5 now. It seems SCJA has a lot of same thing with SCJP. Then I think it's better to pass both at once.

I'm not sure if I passed the SCJP1.5, then what the SCJA means to me?

Thanks in advance.

I think this question has been answered already. The SCJP exam is for experienced programmers, while SCJA is for beginners. If you are aiming at SCJP, then you do not gain anything by taking SCJA along with it.

Best Wishes,

Its alrady discussed if you have SCJP you won't require SCJA. But if you are certificate crazy person then goahead and accumlate more certs under your belt.
