Why would you want to obtain a lower-level certificate if you already have a higher-level one?

I passed (the beta) without any studying. It is a different exam to SCJP, testing different things, it is not enough to be able to pass SCJP, you have to know things that are not covered (a load of mobile java for example).

Hey guys,

I don't want to be rude...but...I really wonder how and why people should ask for something like this!!!

Why even bother...it's a test, as any other test there is always the chance to pass without having no clue at all! :-)

I only hope people will not get into a development team passing a test simply being lucky!

Gio :-)

Depends what you know already? I found SCJA quite easy, but you do need to know a little about a lot of technologies. If you have worked on J2EE, then this exam should not be too difficult.

I am a SCJP and would rather not add SCJA credentials as I am afraid it will demote my experience status.
