Dear Friends,

With the beingn grace of Almighty and the friendly support extended by you Ranchers, I have cleared the test with 90%.

My section-wise breakup is as under:

first of all friends, let me tell you that that the exam is not very difficult. All you need is a good preparation.

My prepartion approach was different. I was preparing for SCJP 5 and had read Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates Book thoroughly. This cleared my concepts immensely. The second book I took was Cameron Mckensie SCJA guide and Mock Tests, and thats all.

So what I recommend you guys is:

1. Read K&B Book. This would not only clear your concepts but also prepare you for the next level. It is a fabulous book written in a lucid, fantastic manner. Hats off to it.
2. Read SCJA Guide by Cameron Mckenzie. Cameron has put difficult concepts (J2EE and EJB) into simple language. Great book by a great author.
3. Read J2EE Specification only overview portion and J2ME Specification only overview portion.
4. Read hfoo-associateuml.pdf.
5. Do Mock tests by Cameron. They cover practically everything.
6. If you have time, can do other mock tests, else this much is sufficient.

Once again, all the best guys. May He shower success on everyone.

Do the next thing next. That’s a pretty good rule. Read the tiny ad, that’s a pretty good rule, too.
