Hi all,
I'm a SCJP and trying to sit for SCJD. But recently, Sun has announced that another exam, SCJA. What should I try SCJD or SCJA. I think if a person passed SCJA, he would also be comparable to SCJD.
Anyway, I need to know reference books and useful links on the internet for SCJD or SCJA. Thank in advance for your replies.

Which exam you need to take depends on your role. The main part of the Developer's exam is an assignment where you can exercise your development skills. It is for developers who are going to get their hands dirty with Java coding.
The Java Architect exam focuses on architectural issues - how a large-scale application can be built out of applets, applications, servlets, JSPs, enterprise beans. How these interact with requirements, performance, legacy software, heterogeneous environments etc. Typically an architect needs a broad, high level understanding but does not do any coding whatsoever. The exam consists of questions not unlike the Programmer's exam (but obviously the content is rather different).
Of course one person may fulfil both types of roles, especially in a small company. In that case doing both exams would be useful.
