Can we find any mock exams for SCJD?. Even though it is essay type and depends on the project we get, atleast we will have an idea about what to expect in the test, if we can practice beforehand. I am studying extensively on topics like RMI, Swing, threads, collections(in perticular hashtables), jdbc, i/o etc., But mocks are of great help. So, please those who have already taken the exam, post some questions.
Thanks
Raj

Hi,
Have you downloaded the assignment yet ?
I just finished my SCJP and I am also preparing for SCJD. Since I have not worked with RMI and Swing stuff, I am picking it up currently and hope to download the assignment from Sun in the next week.
We could share design designs, tradeoffs etc.
As far as I know, there are very few SCJD guys out there, and those who have passed have not bothered to put any questions like the ones on the exam. Besides since it is not multiple choice, it would be slightly difficult to post questions.
Anyway, what stage of SCJD preparation are you at now ?
Thx,
ST

St,
I have not yet downloaded the assignment. Actually what I am doing is to learn more of Java. I have done some RMI reading and programming. So also JavaBeans, swing, more threads, etc.. My aim is not just passing SCJD, but learning more Java. When I say I am SCJP2 or SCJD, I must be able to substantiate my claim by proving that in addition to passing the test, I know the Java stuff. Probably, I will take another 4 weeks before I download. Till then, I will prepare in all aspects of Java. I have done some servlets, JDBC and XML. But I need to do EJB, JNI, etc., But I am working hard towards that goal.
I am still looking for some Mock Exams for SCJD. Anybody out there can give few pointers?.
Thanks
Raj
