How do these species look like ? Do they exist ? How many of them ?
Its seems like SCJD is mired in confusion.

I took a corporate class in distributed Java in September. The class instructor had his SCJD and was VERY knowledgable. By accident he was also an Excellant teacher. Of course he had about 8 years of experience with C## and smalltalk, so the OO understanding was already there. He has about 4 years of Java. I am not sure where in that time he took the exams.
Last I heard he was going for his Architect certification this winter.
