I want to register for the sun's developer's exam and download the programming assignment.I want to know how to download the assignment and extract the source files from their jar file and in format should i submit it.I don't have a very clear idea of jar files.Could anybody please help me .

There is a ton of info about where to go to download the project. Just look around. To unarchive the jar file you get from Sun, make sure jar.exe (or the path to it more precisely) is in your path then type: jar -xf filename
where filename if the name of the .jar file Sun gives you.
