Developer / Architect -- Better Exam

I have just cleared JCP with 86%. I would like to know the scope & advantages of Developer and Architect exams...

I'm not quit sure how to answer this question. I don't think anybody can do it neither.
Which exam to take is solely base on your preference. If you like to do architecture work, design and analysis, you should go for SCEAJ.
If you like programming, you should go for SCJD.
Personally, I believe that to be a good programmer, or a good architect, you should do both.
One more thing, the SCEAJ is focus on J2EE side, rather that J2SE.

It really is Better to give Both.But what about the scope of each in terms of oppurtunities.

To be honest, as far as the market in US right now, J2EE is really hot. The problem with the SCEAJ is that they only test your archotecture type question, instead of coding. SCJD really test your coding skill, which is the best thing.
