Hi Guys,
- I have two client classes one for local and one for remote. They both implement a common interface. These two classes turn make use of the Data.java class methods for most of the public methods.
- If i do not implement the lock and unlock methods in the Data.java file and implement these two methods in local and remote client classes.
I would like to check with you guys, if you see any problem with this approach from the project specifications point of view. Am i deviating from the instructions from Sun.
- One of the reasons for going for this approach is that the lock and unlock does require different type of logic depending on what mode the application is running in. For example, we do not have to provide for multiple clients accessing the db inthe local mode. This ensures that the Data.java class file does have only that code which is common for both the local and remote modes.
I would greatly appreciate your comments.
thanks in advance
