I am starting on my Developer Cerification programming assignment and I have a quick question for any one (preferably someone that has passed the developer exam). In the documentation it says that all classes dealing with the database are to be placed in the suncertify.db package... I take that to mean that I can make another package (com.flybynight.*) for my client (and server if necessary), but any modifications I make to the actual database classes must be in the suncertify.db package. Am I correct or are all classes you develop supposed to be under suncertify.db?
Thanks in advance for any clarification.

Create all your packages under suncertify. If you decide to extend data class instead of modifying it, then place the new class in suncertify.db package. It would be easier also to keep client and server classes under suncertify. e.g. suncertify.client etc.
