Can the Data class definition be changed ?

HI,
I would like to change the definition of Data class to:
interface DataInterface implements remote
{
//all public methods of Data
}
class Data implements DataInterface
{
}
Please let me know if this is allowed ? Will SUN allow me to change the class definition of Data ?

You can change the definition, as long as you've got a good reason for it (as in this case).
